Sunday Mornings at CKPres
Families begin in the worship service together and our children's message occurs after the initial worship set. At that point children 5th grade and younger will be invited up front to join. Then, children will be dismissed for Godly Play. You are, of course, always welcome to have your kids sit with you during the entire service. Green “busy boxes” are available in the foyer and are filled with all sorts of activities to help direct their energy during the service. You can bring really little ones (0-3 years) to our nursery, or feel free to make use of our quiet room adjacent to the sanctuary.
Godly Play
Godly Play is our children's church, where our children are invited to explore and make meaning of God and the Bible through story, wonder, and play.
This Montessori-style approach creates a sacred space in which to present the stories of our faith, wonder about them together, and then allow the children open-ended opportunities to engage with the story on their own terms.

Kids Club
Every quarter we have a six-week Wednesday evening series for kids filled with fun, games, snacks and a bible lesson. Recent Kids Club Themes include:
- Epic Wonders: Journeying through the Awesomeness of God's Creation
- Exploring Worship: Mind, Body and Soul
- The Hero's Journey: Whispers of Christ in Every Story
Vacation Bible School
For rising Kindergarteners through 5th graders, in July we host Vacation Bible School; a high-energy, fun and Jesus-filled week!
In 2024, we held SCUBA VBS where we dove into friendship with God. This year during Vacation Bible School, we'll be guiding kids on an ultimate Alaskan adventure. Through exploring the northern lights, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers, we'll also explore how we can keep our eyes on our True North — Jesus.

Family Playgroups
Parents bring your kids to play on the playground and enjoy time with other families! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy out in the summer sun.
Park down by the church garden and enter the playground through the gate closest to the garden. And, if you'd like to help work in our church garden, kids and adults are welcome in there. Just be sure to dress for it!

Fireside. Worship Nights
Join us for a worship night geared towards young adults and families this summer. We will host 3 throughout the summer, in different areas of Kitsap County.
